The Bomb I
During the exhibition the whole gallery space was filled with thick white mist (produced by two constantly working fog machines) allowing only extremely limited visibility once inside. And there, hidden in the mist, the bombs were waiting.
Installation was a reflection to the globally intensifying war-rhetorics, which for me recalled my own Soviet childhood memories, where the threat of the sudden nuclear war was always present, so it became almost normal. With that in mind, the exhibition's explosion-sculptures were designed to remind mass-produced decorative objects.
